Ulysses Club Inc. Mudgee Branch
The township of Mudgee was first reached by white man in 1821 by William Lawson and first settled in 1822 by George and Henry Cox.
When you drive into Mudgee it is a sight to behold with rolling hills, gorgeous mountains oozing with countryside peace and a warm fuzzy feeling.
Mudgee is also blessed with historic buildings so slip on your walking shoes, pick up a Historic Walking map and set out for a interesting walk around Mudgee’s historic buildings, Described by the National Trust as ‘one of the finest groups of townscape in a country area’
The Mudgee Branch meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Mudgee Golf Club in Robertson street at 7:30pm.
Chinese Dinner is available at the Golf Club before the meeting from 6pm.
All visitors to the district are welcome to join us.
We also meet at McDonalds Bakery in Market Street for coffee and a chat each Tuesday morning at 10am.
You will also find a few of us at the Waratah Hotel each Friday night from 6pm.
